We took a mini-family vacation to Iowa this past week/weekend. A.J. got baptized on Friday; Saturday we went to Lake Okoboji/Arnold's Park and the rest of the time we spent with family. Josie enjoyed the time on the farm(s)with the cats, dogs, pigs, cows, tractors, and four-wheelers.
Our normally "good" baby was not so good for his baptism. He was content right before, then when it started he screamed the entire time. Father Tom said that he has NEVER had a baby cry the whole time. I always said our children are "unique". :-) Right after the baptism he was back to being his mellow, content self. We still don't know what the fuss was all about. I guess he didn't want to get baptized, but we made him anyway.
We're back in Wisconsin today and ready to get back on our normal schedules.

Fun! We went to Okoboji last year about this time and John and I rode that roller coaster in the background of your pic. We were by far the oldest people on that thing!
I like your "we made him anyway" comment about A.J. being baptised & not liking it - it made me laugh!! Cute pics too!
