RiverFest and Sprinklers

We took in RiverFest this weekend for the Fourth of July. Friday we went to see the fireworks (we stayed far enough away so that we didn't scare A.J.). Sunday we took the kids back down so Josie could run in the toddler race. However, when we got down there we realized it was a "bike toddler race" so we decided to pull her out of it since she hasn't mastered the bike yet. We let her ride rides instead which she was happy with.

A.J. slept the entire time as he usually does when we go places.

Josie getting up from her tumble at the bottom of the slide.

She got up top of the big inflatable slide (I went with her, just in case) and took off down the slide, started spinning side-ways until eventually tumbling over and landing at the bottom head first. I panicked a little bit, but she got up, grinned, and said "I wanna do that again."

Josie got to ride in the train. That's her in the pink elephant train car.

At home, we put up the sprinkler so Josie could run through it. As you can see by the smile on her face she enjoyed it. Take a look at the video clip of her running through it and then falling.
