R-E-L-I-E-F

AJ's surgery went well. He went in at 8:20 and we were able to go see him at 8:40. He was easy to find as we could hear him screaming/crying down the hall. He cried for almost 30 min. when he woke up. It was probably a combination of the anesthesia, being in a strange place, being mad at us for leaving him with strange people in a strange place, and it might have been a little loud for him since he's now able to hear for the first time in months! :) The dr said he had full-blown ear infection in both ears with a ton of fluid and buldging ear drums. They kept him longer because of that and since he had a fever, but we still weren't there very long. He slept most of the day today, so hopefully he has some relief!

I snapped a picture of him because I thought he looked so cute in his little hospital gown! As you can tell by the smile on his face, this was BEFORE the procedure!
