Girls Weekend at Lake Arbutus

Fifteen of us made the "moms/girls weekend" at Lake Arbutus (Hatfield, WI) at our friend's cabin this weekend. We had a blast, even though the high was in the 60's! There was not a dull moment with a lot of gabbing and laughing going on. Most of the girls were runners (actually, all of them are) so most went on a five-mile run in the morning (not me, forgot my tennis shoes), then swam across the lake (not me, waay too cold!), and when kayacking (not me, too cold for me again!). I was lazy. I stayed in the cabin and read and chatted with other girls that were lazy with me.

We were the talk of the island when we pulled up in the pontoon to the bar and grill for drinks and dinner on Friday night!
