A.J. will be 18 months next week. He's ALL BOY! He's into balls, cars, wreastling, coloring and puzzles right now. Oh, and BARNEY! He understands a lot, but says few words still. Josie was talking in sentences and saying words very clear at this age so it's a little different for us. We usually understand what he's trying to tell us, so he at least tries to make out the words. We at least can figure out some of his syllables even if it isn't the actual word.
Josie is ALL GIRL! She's into dolls, barbies, princesses, helping mommy cook, reading, crafts, music and dance. She's learning her letters and recognizes many of them and can write a lot of them as well. She writes A.J. all the time so she has the "A" and the "J" down! She started gymnastics and seems to like it but says she likes dance better. She's the littlest one in gymnastics, too, just like she was in dance. :-(
Over the last month or so, the kids have really started playing well together. A.J. copies Josie in everything she does. It's so funny to watch them. Josie tries to be "mother hen". We even have Josie change his diaper (except the poopy ones), because he listens to her and lays right down and still the entire time. She enjoys it so I guess she can keep doing it! :-)
A.J. has his 18 month well check next week so I'll give his stats updates then.
