Hunting is in full-swing so I've been the hunter's widow since the beginning of Fall. That leaves me and the kids to winterize the house, go to movies, go to church festivals, shopping, visit friends, etc. by ourselves. We've managed and it really hasn't been too bad.
The kids are enjoying their new day care. I've seen a change in both of them (for the better). They have a blast and have so many friends. They are extremely exhausted in the evenings and usually don't put up a fight to go to bed. Josie enjoys 4K and is doing pretty well. According to her mid-term report she needs to work being more confident. She evidentally is pretty quiet and doesn't speak up. Hard to belive considering what she's like in other environments.
We made it to Iowa for Thanksgiving. I got to see my aunt and uncle from Colorado Springs who were visiting dad at the time. I also got to see my newest nephew again -I haven't seen him since he was born in September. That makes him baby number 5 for my brother and his wife!
