Here's to a New Year!

I wasn’t the best at keeping up my blog in 2010, but maybe I’ll do better in 2011.

Christmas was spent in Iowa with both sides of the family. A.J. came down with strep when we got back from our trip so we were homebound for a few days and stayed home for New Year's Eve. Now we are back to "normal" again, or at least should be.

This week is probably the first full week I’ll put in at work in months! I think the kids got used to being at home over the last few weeks because of the holidays and being sick that now they don’t want to go back. I think I need a break from Barbies, Polly Pockets, kid’s games, and playing farm anyway! Makes it harder on us when they don’t want to go, but it will be nice to get back to routine!

Swimming lessons begin again next week and Josie is still in dance. She does dance through day care now so it’s a little less running around for us which I like. We can’t be in the dance studio anyway during her lessons so I don’t feel as though I’m missing out on anything. I do attend the lessons that they invite the parents in for though, which is only a couple during the year.

Here are a couple pictures from Christmas. Santa came early to our house, before we left for Iowa.
