A Working Mom

What do you do when you're extremely busy at work, but the kids can't go to day care because of having a fever the day before?

Answer: Load up the coloring books, crayons, a plethora of snacks and take them to the office with you!

Josie had a fever last Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we kept the kids home on Monday. Mike took the morning shift and because it's my extremely-busy-can't-miss-next-two-weeks at work; I couldn't afford to take the whole day off. I had a meeting scheduled that afternoon so I loaded up the kids and took them with me, since it had been more than 24 hours since the last temp - we were good to go! It all worked out. The kids were happy to get out of the house and I got my meeting taken care of.
