Vacation - Part one of ?

We decided we were ready for a vacation one week and took the following week off to go somewhere, but we didn't know where. We just wanted to get away and thought the kids needed it too, because, well frankly, they had been driving us bonkers!

On Sunday, we decided KC, so we took off on Tuesday. I did get in touch with a few friends and told them we were coming, and even though it was last-minute decision, we were able to get togther with some. We even ended up staying with some friends a couple of the nights who have kids the exact same age as Josie and A.J. It was a blast. We got to see our old college buddies and the kids made new friends! We did many things so I'll add pictures in segments just so I don't fill up one whole blog entry.

Day 1&2 - Great Wolf Lodge
This is where we stayed the first night arriving in KC. What a great place for kids. There were kids activities galore! Not included in the pictures are the swimming pools and slids. But believe me, they were loads of fun!

For an extra fee, you can play mini-golf

If you eat all your dinner, you get a surprise (Wiley the Wolf ears)

Kids can get a manicure and pedicure (for an additional fee)

Of course there was an arcade

All the kids in the Lodge gathered together for a bedtime story later in the night.
