Updates

It's been a couple weeks since I've had any updates. I guess that's because we haven't had much going on! AJ turned 7 months last week and is growing like a weed. Both kids got their flu shots today. Josie was a little surprised at hers. I don't know what she was thinking but she was soo excited to go to the doctor and get a flu shot. She obviously didn't know what it was so when they poked her she started to cry a little and said "the doctor office hurt me." But she got a sucker and was over it in about 10 seconds. AJ just grunted when he got his.

AJ is starting to get on all fours and wants to crawl really, really bad but hasn't figured it out yet. I'm hoping he doesn't figure it out too soon, I like knowing where he is! He still has no teeth, and has finally learned how to sleep.

Josie is becoming miss independent. If she can't do something, she'll find a way to do it without asking. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes not so good (liking pulling a chair up to the counter, trying to stand on the counter just to get a snack!). Her new thing is asking "why?" after everything. For example, here's our conversation at dinner last night:

"why do we have to say prayer before we eat supper?"
A: Because we have to tell God thank you for our food
"why do we have say thank you for our food?"
A: Because it's polite.
"why is it polite?."
A: Because it is.
"why it is?"
A: Because. Now eat your supper.
"why do I have to eat my supper?"
and on, and on, and on.....

That's about all for now.
